Tonypandy

A sequence of images from one of my first documentarian projects. Like many towns and villages situated in the Welsh valley's, Tonypandy has been largely left behind following the closing of the coal mines. With many of my past relatives originating from this underrepresented part of the world, I wanted to use my photography to try and demonstrate the devastating long-term effects of such drastic deindustrialisation.
